384 uncapped + XBL YAY/NAY

To confirm wot another post noted, 384 speed can suffer if multiple users use the Internet acc at the same time, others no issues with lag. Also, I'd get a faster speed just for big file downloads as demos, patches and games for xbox and ps3 are getting bigger all the time

Doesn't matter how fast your internet connection is for PS3...terrible lag there, can last for weeks! :p
 
They really don't ask more for the 1mbps speeds. I am on Axxess Just Uncapped 512 and I am getting speeds of 800kbps , while paying 512 prices.
 
what is the difference in price between 384 KBPS telkom line and 512 (aka 1MBPS) telkom adsl line?

as for the internet connection to PS3, what internet connection ?- with PSN down over the last few weeks, i cant even connect at all to PSN!
 
I use telkom as my adsl line provider and axxess as my adsl data provider and am content with both. What is the benefit of having e.g axxess, providing both the adsl line and the data (gb)?
 
Well for one Axxess DSL line is alot cheaper compared to Telkom prices.
Telkom = R326 pm
Axxess = R289 pm

Also the line is better maintained. Axxess doesn't maintain it, they just shove a pole up Telkoms arse if they don't do it soon. ;)
 
Tnx for the costing breakdown, I'll def look into it! Is there a service interruption to switch from e.g telkom adsl line to one mngd by Axxess?
