3CX PBX and Linksys SPA3102

I am trying to setup 3CX PBX system using a Linksys SPA3102. I got everything to work and can make outgoing calls and calls between extensions. The problem is that I cannot get 3CX to recognise incoming calls. The 3CX activity log does not show any entry when there is an incoming call. It seems that the SPA3102 does not "pass the call" to 3CX. Has this anything yo do with the SPA settings specific to South Africa? Has anybody perhaps got the correct settings for the SPA3102 in SA? Is there anything else I can look at to find out why 3CX does not answer the call?

I see that this message already had 202 views but no reply. Does this mean that lots of people are having the same problem but there is nobody that can offer a solution?

The problem with Asterisk is that it is Linux based and there is a lot less support in this country for Linux than there is for Windows (pity but it's a fact). Furthermore Asterisk (Trixbox) does not work with the SPA3102 (as tested by the SPA supplier).

Would still love to get 3CX and the SPA3102 to work but it does not seem as I am going to get any useful help on this forum (dissapointing).

PS See the views has already gone up to 303 - and still only a view "irrelevant" replies.

I have successfully done what you are trying to do..

send me a mail on georgegoosen at gmail dot com and i will send you my setup

i gave the SPA3102.. with a Analogue phone, i am able to dial all internal extensions, and dial out either on the VOIP liine or telkom line depending on Dialign prefix..

Can i suggest the follwoign so long, what version of 3cx are you running? also what firmware version are you running on the router.

I have 3X SPA3102 connected to a Trixbox? and can call and receive calls...

It does work with Asterisk....

I am changing from Asterisk to 3cx v10. according to the manual using the spa3102 as a gateway (PSTN telkom analog) as well as ATA (to Siemens Gigaset DECT) is not possible. From your email sounds like it is.

Can you please let me have the config info for both the spa3102 as well as 3CX side.

Not quite true. I have the SPA3102 working as a PSTN gateway as well as an ATA for a 3 handset Siemens DECT Gigaset. Outgoing analog calls work, Incoming sometimes have 1 way audio.

The challenge now comes to use the SPA as a VoIP gateway as well, hence I trying to get ggoosen's config...
