3d Printers South Africa

The resin engineering at 5:50 was really interesting.

Anyone printed with SBS? How flexible is it compared to TPU?

I need to print a hinge and a bellows but can't print TPU. Wondering if it will be a suitable replacement.

Finally got my ass into gear and setup Octoprint on a RPi I had... absolute game changer not to have to fsck around with the SDCard now... and to be able to monitor the printer (at least via stats for the moment) from outside the room is also cool.

Now you just need to add a webcam. Even better!

Then look at some of the octorprint plugins.

So, thought I'd post a pic or two of my finished (for now) 3DSets Landy. Think it came out quite nice.

Roll cage is in the works, and then perhaps a trailer of some sort.

Very nice! I have this on my printing to-do list. Want to make it look like the one I learned to drive in back in 1988...

The tyres soft or hard material?
They are eSUN eTPU-95A. So not as soft as I would like unfortunately. Couldn't find nice tyres to buy at a relatively affordable price, so they will do for now. I am not looking at adding the RC components, this is just for display, so not really needed.
