Long story short: I was painting saturday for the first time in ages, then the idea struck me to add a little 3D.

The idea is to use molding putty on the canvas to "lift" a little 3D ness to the paintings. The idea should work as it's not that hard.

One of the ones that I want to do is Superman (Saw an amazing black and white one that I want to try). If I do it well and get tried of it on my wall, quite a few people will buy it. So I won't have the stuff cluttering up my garage.

The one that I'm struggling with is a space ship. I'm not a fan of moddling for days on end. And I have a deep passion for space ships. So I figured that it can work out pretty cool. Have some of a space ship in 3D on a painting. Like only the nose or something like that.

But what do I do with it afterwards? There isn't a big market for it...
Although Star Trek never quite got my attention for longer than my boredom lasted, I figured that their ships are easier to model than the ones on most Anime. And there will be a bigger market to sell it to.

Any suggestions? I'm still very fuzzy about the spaceship paintings.. It's still just an idea that hangs in the air.
I'm always open to new ideas on the 3D painting idea as well.
