Very nice, the 7600GS is a well rounded card for most applications.

How would you like to trade CPU, Mobo and Ram for my A64 3200, 2GB Transcend and GA-K8NS-Ultra?;)

64 bit is a major problem, have u made sure CAD will run without problems on vista?

im not sure if CAD is very heavy on a hdd but i would recommend change the hard drive's for 74 gig raptor

the performance increase is insane

The raptors is much more expensive and CAD isn't heavy on the hdd, processor power and ram is the main thing when opening up big files

3 x Asus P5B Deluxe IP965 Motherboard w/A8 + 2LK + FWa + SATA2

but you'll pay a premium for that mobo for office pc's?

i changed from raid to 1 raptor and its faster for everything, corel photoshop everyday appz

i dont think its that badly priced considering the performance

Jee I just upgraded my BIOS to 1304 from 08something. I get a thousand more 3dmarks :/ HA HA im so over benchmarking. It doesn make sense

I think I will buy a better cooler kit and overclock!!!! :p

CAD loads a lot of object from the HDD, so running 2 raptors on RAID-striping would make a diff, although some reviews say RAID makes no diff on desktops due to buffer and chipset bottlenecks. My loading times in games are drastically reduced with 3 drives in Stripe Mode (Benchmarked).

Getting over 11k with a 8800GTS isn't really likely with 3DMarks06 on default settings, unless OCing or running uncertified 3DMarks drivers. Check the OBR page on 3DMarks site. The highest 8800GTS 640MB score with a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo is 11029.
