Hi!

Very recently my computer started shutting down(not the windows way, but just going off immediately by itself- as if someone has pulled out the power cord) unexpectedly.

I got a bit worried and thought that my computer was broken, only to find out a couple of days later (after thoroughly searching for the problem) that it was my 3G causing the problem. I've been using 3G on this computer for a long time now and its the first time I've encountered a problem such as this.

....What I'm trying to say is, if any of you experience the same problem, don't panic. It's not you computer that’s broken and no, you don't have to take it in. Just re-install the VMC Software and your problem should be solved.

Just thought I should share with you guys, since it could save you a lot of time and money.

i have an acer 1673wlmi and had major probs with the novatel card but new firmware drivers and crashboard sorted it check if u on the latest ver. of everything

One catch, its a Desktop Computer.

....but I don't think that is the problem.
I have been using the same card in the same computer now for the last year now without this problem occuring. So somewhere along the line some files got corrupted.

My common sense tells me its not a compatibilty issue, anyway.

BTW, what is the latest firmware version. I'm currently running 14.2.

Thanks!
