Hi

Can someone please explain me the different models of 3G cards we get. Also is it possible to use a card from Vodacom on say MTN or CellC- and why/not?

Thanks

Well as for Voda/MTN you get 3G cards which offer 3G/GPRS and HSDPA cards which offer HSDPA/3G/EDGE/GPRS, these are mostly PCMCIA, except for the Huawei E220 which is USB and offered by both networks. Its also the only card currently available from the networks that can do 3.6mpbs when the networks support it. Cell C/Virgin also offer various EDGE modems but I don't really see the point of getting one to be honest. You should be able to use any card on any network, except for a few that are network locked but those you can get unlocked.
