3G card wanted

Hello all,

My notebook and 3G card was stolen some time back and I've been waiting for the HSDPA card to arrive but these prices are still too high.

I'd like to buy a legitimate Vodacom 3G card—but off course I do not want to pay the earth for it.

Has someone got such a card for me or know where I can purchase such a card—Vodacom/Vodashop say they do not have the older 3G cards?

According to the vodacom warehouse, there are 3G cards available, so the shop should be able to supply you. Ask them to order you one, if need be.

This is indeed good news. Do you have any idea what the price would be?

Hello Daveogg,

Thank you indeed. I already have contracts for phone & 3G. But this seems like a very good deal even if it is just to get the card. Not sure how it'll work but I'll make enquiries.

Any news yet on 2nd hand 3G data cards?

I think if you already have a Weekender contract and you're close to the end of your 24 months you can take the card as an "upgrade" instead of choosing a new fone.

So you pay Weekender subscription, and get the card for an extra R50/month.
Weekender includes free minutes, dunno if this particular 1 comes with data.
