Hi

I have a USB E220 modem attached to a Billion 7402GXL modem. I have no ADSL and setup the router as a standalone 3G connection only.

I have an unrestricted APN for a network camera I use.

The problem is that the 3G connection disconnects at some point everyday or every other day.
On the router under status it says "3G Connection CLOSED"

The only way to restart the internet connection it is to unplug & re-plug the modem.
Sometimes u have to reboot the entire modem

Any advice? (I am waiting for Nology to reply as well)

Few questions, is the modem on a 3G only connection ,what time does it disconnect , is the router and modem firmware upgraded?

The modem mode is set as "automatic" on the router.
I had upgraded the modem firmware only recently.
I cant tell what time it disconnects

I'll PM my number to you VodacomData
