3g connection problem

I have a 3g connect card but am unable to get it working on 3 different laptops. I get the error :
"While attempting to connect, an error with the number 619 occured - The port is disconnected.".
I have restarted the PC, but still the same prob.
I have been on hold for technical support for the past 30 mins and figured I might get have an answer here much sooner at this rate :)
any help will be much appreciated.

I was on hold for 30 mins and when I tell the guy ... all he can say is 'oh' .... this kind of "service" really pisses me off .... at that rate I might as well drive in to a call centre ... what ... do they only have like 1 call center person per million subscribers .... what the hell do they do with all of those profits .... if any of u scum from vodacom(or mtn ... not sure about cell c) are reading this .... get off ur fat a$$es and improve ur customer service .....

Did the card and sim work before or has it been dead all along?
 
I has not worked b4 .... apparently the service provider did not submit the application ... its been like 2 months ... ridiculous !!!
anyways ... will see what happens after they manage to submit the application.
