3G Coverage in Florida Glen/Bergbron, V3G?

Hi V3G,

I get 3G on my 6680 just about any place I go to except my complex. It ends 100m to from my gate (gordon road). Any news on when will Vodacom cover Florida Glen, 5th Avenue?

I thought I had the same issue, but it turned out that the Nokia 6680 isn't as good at picking up 3G coverage as the Sharp 902. (I'm testing both these 3G phones, and I have consistently found that in areas where the Nokia doesn't show 3G coverage, the Sharp usually does).

So it may well be the case that you do have 3G coverage, but on the edge, and the Nokia just isn't picking it up.

My 2G id is Bergbron-3 (home) and Bergbron-1 ouside me gate. Are there any plans by Vodacom to release GPRS+ or EDGE in the near future?

Not sure if this is the same area but a cell named: Florida_Uniflor, Selwyn & Boltonia, just went live.

Is Vodacom planning more live sites in Johannesburg? I think Florida_Uniflor, Selwyn & Boltonia is another area. Still dont get 3G in Bergbron area.
