Hi all, probably repeating another forum, but here's how I managed to get 3g in a low coverage area. Apparently your phone/modem picks up the strongest signal tower( not neccessarily 3g ). If that happens to be a non-3g( gsm ) the internet is useless. To avoid this, force "3g only" in your phone's network settings. It's a simple thing, but not obvious. I struggled about 10 days and accidentally saw it in another forum, regarding mxit. Let me know if it helps( surely did for me )
