I have just bought the Fastlink Data Card on a MyChoice 75.
Why can't I recharge it via the Data Card. I have to remove the sim and insert it into a phone to recharge, find out my balance etc. I just get "sorry that number is not allowed" 555, *141#, *#06# are some of the number I can not dial.

That is a bit whack. I was trying to do the same with voda card. It would be awesome if one could check the balance using the dashboard software. I have tried it with the Huawei software but that don't work. If anyone knows of a way of checking the balance (and recharging) on a data card - without taking out the sim or doing it without a headset (voda) please shed some light.

Also strange becasue MyChoice75 can be used for calls, messaging and data according to their site. Maybe it's locked for data only. I'm sure MTN can activate the voice for you then it 'should' work.
