does this free upgrade mean if someone has a 3g card, they can go buy the hsdpa one and get the refund and then keep the 3g one? in order to have 2 cards? or how much does the 3g ones go for?

If you swap your 3G card for a HSDPA card, you need to give the old 3G card back, hence the 'swap-out'.

If you want to keep your 3G card, you need to buy a new HSDPA card at the going rate of R2699.00.

I went to my Vodashop the first day this was announced, and to their credit, they knew about the swop offer.

Unfortunately, since then they have been waiting for stock, and to date, have not received any HSDPA cards. No one knows how long we have to wait.

:-(

If you have an incredible connection near you, try to go there, but don't let them tell you that they can't swop out your card because you bought it somewhere else! If it is on contract you can get it swopped anywhere.
Also don't let them tell you that you can't swop your card because you bought it before 1st March, that is just another lie.

Try phoning different places and see where you can get it swopped, if you bought your 3G card cash, well then you'll have to wait, you can only swop out a card that you bought cash at the store you got it from.

Are the swopout cards supposed to be available from the Vodashops? Mine says it's still on back order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
