Has anyone had problems with the HSDPA cards not switching from 3G connectivity to HSDPA? It seems that some cards are battling with HSDPA, others seem to work fine. One card will connect via 3G only, won't connect at 1.8, another in the same PC or Laptop seems to connect at 1.8 without a hitch, anyone else seeing this problem?

Not heard of this before.

Are you connecting to the network in the first place?

If there is no data flowing, the card will stay in 3G (double, slow blinking blue LED), as soon as you start downloading data, the card must switch into HSDPA (triple, fast blinking blue LED). Obviously if you've got HSDPA coverage.

Hi V3G

I'm going to try this again at around lunch time, I'm out of 3G reception at the moment. From what I can see it just looks like the card will only connect at 384, swop the card, use the same sim and it connects at 1.8 ..... I might have two cards that are doing this so hopefully I'll be able to give you a full description of the problem later today.

Ok I think I might have something for you:

2 x Cards that appear not to be able to connect via HSDPA
Firmware Rev: 3.8.1Wd

Card that appears to be able to connect via HSDPA
Firmware Rev: 3.15.0Hd

So any ideas where I can get the latest version of the firmware? :o

Yes, this would explain it. The Wd version does not support HSDPA. Have PM'ed you.
