Hi guys,

I'm looking into a wirleless router to support a 3G/HSPDA modem, I only have one desktop which would need to be connected via ethernet (two ports would be nice but it is not a neccessity). I saw this one from Kalahari which interested me

I also saw this one but I dunno if I like it too much

What are you guys using?

I use the dlink one from telkom, its has decent wifi signal and can do adsl when you need it,goes for around R600 at any telkom shop.

D-Link DSL-2750U is the model number comes with four ethernet ports also.

Thanks. I'll check that model out. I actually just need the router for 3G so if I can get a solution that can just take the sim without the need for a modem that would be great, I'd assume this would be a bit cheaper but I can't find any of these on takealot or kalahari.

Question is, what modems it supports?

I'm not sure yet still need to get one. But I am looking intoTelkom Mobile.

Routers with build-in modems seem expensive.

Have a look at UnitermDirect for some more options. myBB members get discount too :)

The few that I came across also seemed rather pricy, I would have thought that a router with a built in modem would be cheaper than buying the two seperately. Anyhow, thanks for the link I will most def check it out!

I was just thinking, if the router does not support a 3G modem, can I not just share the connection from my desktop to the router?
