3G in Kempton Park

Anyone have any 3G connection in Kempton Park.? I have got a Huawei E620 and only using a GPRS/EdGE connection? Or any of the MTN dudes, any time expected when it would be rolled out?

Good day,

I also live in Kempton Park

With me using my Nokia 6680 using FTD net monitor, when I force protocol to WCDMA (3G) only and put it in my room onto my TV cabinet at an angel I get full 3G signal, when I use my E630 anywhere in the house specifying 3G only I only connect with a Edge connection. The full roll out we looking some time 2007, but will advise ASAP.

Did you try a Vodacom sim in your datacard.Vodacom might have better coverage than MTN,plus all Vodacom 3G base stations are HSDPA enable
 
I work in the Spartan area where there is EDGE and 3G. I get 4 bars on my Option card. Have not tried EDGE yet, but 3G is excellent.

I do know that a friend of mine is on Vodacom and his phone shows full 3G signal at my house, Not all 3G base stations are HSDPA enabled as yet they are being upgraded and will be HSDPA soon.

Is that with MTN as your network UnDeR±tAkEr?
