3g or not to be 3g

i have 30mb per month on contract , now if i switch to 3g will they bill me extra or will the data just run out faster?
i use edge or gprs for watsapp.

The 30Mb per month covers data , it does not matter if you getting 3G , GPRS edge etc
 
thnx for the reply :) i switched from cellc to voda due to sluggish delays. everything works fine with voda
 
The data will only "run out faster", because 3G can download faster.

But if nothing is using your data, then it should never run out (but it might not be carried over to the next month, or might expire)

In fact, at 3G speeds your months data could run out in just under ~12 minutes, if data is being downloaded at full 3G speed.
 
are there any interconnect speeds ? seriously . I have a R100 cap limit until my sim gets softlocked , now i got a sms saying i have reached R82 of the limit etc. a week later i get soft locked ? ALL i did was whatsapp during that week ? even though i had 45mb left which doesnt make any sense plus it feels as tho i got raped off my sim:twisted:
