[3g] Please cancel my 1gb data bundle..

Holy Cr@p that is hectic, Makes me gald I left the 155 Call centre
 
Hey Ive threatened to burn down virgin mobiles call centre on numerous occasions, sometimes you just have to let of steam ;-)
 
That is exactly what i feel like sometimes....especially after waiting 15min for the call to be answered.
 
While the call center guy got it unnecessarily (he handled it cool anyway)........I sympathize with the caller, a victim of SA corporate ineptitude.
 
Wow............would be great to find out if he actually got it right in the end........... Now, if I was that operator.........he would have had two additional bundles added and double charged the end of the month..... just to see if he called back.....:D :D
 
He wasted 3 minutes by yelling and making a **** of himself. All he had to do is ask if he could get information on how to cancel a databundle. Jeeze...

If i have to speculate what happened, I'd say that his wife downloaded mass files and didnt know that she paid out of bundle rates.

R100 000 Vodacom bill... LMAO
 
Lol, wow i got a 7k vodacom bill a while ago due to windows updates and a stuck service pack 3, i thought i was upset. This guy must have had a 100k bill lol

and with the caller as well though - vodacom shouldn't let people blow R25000 on a 4GB Download.

it could have been a virus and now this guy may have to sell his house..... but they don't care as long as they get their 25 Gold pieces...

When the money runs out on Prepaid, they cut you off RIGHT THERE. when it's a contract, they let it roll as long as they can..... havent they heard of limits to stop people accidentally wrecking their lives?

I would have hung up on him :) There is no excuse for that.

I have spent plenty of time on calls to Telkom and Vodacom. Getting that aggravated only makes you look like an idiot. It is pointless.

Yup, heard of it and it is available on contract. Won't cut you off immediately but at least won't run up massive bills.
 
Shame, poor guy. I feel for him. I wouldn't want that experience. I've been angry before as well, so I can relate ;)
 
WOW! I would have put the phone down. But the calls are recorded so that would have not been an option.

But the guy handled it pretty well. Tried to calm him down, he didn't want to calm down so he just listened.
