3G Router Issues

Can anyone assist me in the following.......

Client is connecting via gprs,there is no 3g access.
when connecting it gives an error "Cannot get an Ip Address from Vodacom"
Internet connectivity seems to be intermitant.Mail also Times out.

Any of you had this problem?
Was it resolved.

using a 3g Router with a novatel card.
 
Not getting an IP is probably the root cause of the other errors you mentioned.

Who did your router installation? Did you use the voucher system?

Have you tried 155 for help?
 
Hi V3G,

Client has only GPRS Signal in his area.
Technician used 3G preferred and GPRS preferred.
Same thing happenend.
Router has been upgraded with latest firmware version.
