4.2 won't download. Baaaaw.

The 'uptated tools' download went fine, but the actual 450mb part just sits there doing nothing. All firewalls are disabled with every part of WoW having permission to do anything so it's not that. Peer-to-peer is enabled. Even after half an hour still nothing had happened.

p2p enabled could be throttled atm for you? try turning it off, I always have it off and never have a problem.

yeah disable p2p, and delete your updates folder so it can start update again to make sure

I got up at 6am to get downlaoded started. left for work with 5mg to go, and updated a few addons while getting dressed. luckily, new month of cap kicks in soon

It was a 450mb download but the folder is showing up as 11 gigs

Must I add some of the files from there somewhere to my existing updates folder or what? Am I being completely thick here or what's the story?

Well I'm back to the 'official' patcher (450mb wasted on the previous crap). P2P is turned off and still it sits doing f***all. I really think I'm going to end up killing someone here...
