I've got a Yamaha RX-V663 receiver and would like to use the Yamaha remote control to switch my Samsung LED 6030 TV on and off.

Do you perhaps know what is the four digit code for a Samsung LED TV?

I have tried : 0464,0672,0646,0098,0060,1019,1340,1345 so far, no joy. :(

You'll need the exact model of Samsung LED TV.

It won't be the same for all of them.

Also is this Receiver HDMI enabled? If that's the case you should be able to control those functions through HDMI-CEC.

TV is Samsung UA46EH6030 3D LED.
Receiver is Yamaha RX-V663. It is HDMI enabled.

SAMSUNG 0036, 0057, 0064, 0087, 0117, 0119, 0181, 0205, 0291, 0397, 0583, 0614, 0645, 0729, 0793, 0839, 0841

Try these ones - also for Samsung TV's.

EDIT: More you can try -
0029, 0030, 0031, 0032, 0044, 0045, 0046, 0047, 0060, 0061, 0065, 0068, 0069, 0071, 0079, 0087, 0127, 0128, 0130, 0144, 0160, 0161, 0170, 0176, 0183, 0185, 0200, 0201, 0206, 0207, 0208, 0213, 0217, 0239, 0241, 0243, 0243

When I had my Yamaha amp, I seem to remember using 0239 or 0241 with my Sammie TV

I just tried all of them, not one worked, although a lot said "OK" when you programmed the number into the remote.

Thank you for your reply, gave me hope!!

TV is Samsung UA46EH6030 3D LED.
Receiver is Yamaha RX-V663. It is HDMI enabled.

In that case look for HDMI-CEC configuration options on both the TV and the receiver.

Should be able to power it on/off (or even do it automatically) and change channels at the very least.

My Onkyo switches itself on and off with the TV, and the Playstation switches both on and changes to the correct channel even.

Xbox sadly is fully manual as it has no CEC support.
