I got hacked :o

What I found strange was the fact that they only cleaned out toons on my one realm. I suppose they don't have "sellers" on my other realm. Anyway, logged a ticket and all was returned in less than 30 minutes.

Strangest of all:

I haven't been playing the last 2 months. So there was no play time on it. Meaning this clown had to either load gametime and then cleaned it out, or he did it while my account was still active (I never play on the other server no more)

Anyway, realised this fk'r had my hotmail account details and he added his own e-mail address for password recovery. I tried to remove it but hotmail has some stupid function that they need to send him an e-mail first to see if they get a response. If not they delete it....

So ended up changing my e-mail account too and deleted the old one.

And best of all I found 9 trojans on my machine.... No idea where they came from as I'm pretty carefull when online. But alas, not even that helped. But the infection is gone, new e-mail account and playing WoW again for the first time in 2 months :p

thats where all the buggers come from :(

that's why only plug in flashdrives in my personal pc that is scanned on my sisters pc :P
 
A friend of mine's account was also inactive, the hacker loaded gametime and then cleaned out the toons.

I got hacked just because I changed authenticators from the one cellphone to the other. They logged in with in the 30min period I was busy with the change.
