4G Americas recently welcomed the final ratification of LTE-Advanced as an IMT-Advanced technology (aka 4G) by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)

LTE closest to 4G - yes. Not sure if the WiMax dudes are offering anything closer to 4G as well!
