4Mbps line not syncing right

Distance from the exchange has a lot to do with the speed you can achieve but with the improved downstream SNR you should now be able to sustain 4Mbps.

See what MWeb can do now.

@ENIAC

I also tried G.DMT that one gave me lesser modem stats. See attached pic.

ADSL+2 gave me the best result. See previous pic.
As MickZA replied the further you are from the exchange speed will degrade.
I'm currently +4km away from the exchange.

I have a spare TP-link router , i'll try setting mine to ADSL+2 , my NETGEAR router wont sync at all when I enable ADSL+2 wich is understandable

okay so ... my noise margin is better , but i'm still not getting anything above 3mbps . Telkom says that 10mbps is available where i live , but just like @howto i guess i'll never see that happening :'(

Your line is probably set to 3Meg on telkom's side. You'll need to call them and ask them to do a port reset and set your line to 4meg again.

That is impossible, have you replaced checked your post filters at all?

Also, update your firmware.

Same post filters. Improvement with ADSL+2 and not G.DMT.

Also, update your firmware.
Done that latest firmware installed.

@ENIAC When I spoke to TelkomZA he also mentioned to take be back to 3Mbps sync. Told him to leave me currently were I'm am. I have not seen any sync problem currently on my side. But now and then I lose my connection with my ISP? for some reason.
