5 technologies that changed the game

Interesting list, but MP3 seems out of place - the others are more of the modern (social media) world, while MP3s date back to the mid 90s.

I would put other things before MP3s if we are going that far back... like say... cellphones.

TBH I disagree with the list, but yeah too many game changers to list in a single small list.

The Tesla is not a game changer at all though, its an electric vehicle for the rich... and its not the first one.

Tesla?
I think you missed the concept of gamechangers, the electric car is not in the game yet.
If mp3 made the lost I think video formats should take its place, it's by far the gamechanger ask broadcasters and video stores.
iPhone is also a gamechanger, touchscreens were always available but iPhone seem to start the slab device movement.
Device applications between apple and android, they changed how we use out phones. Nokia tried to personalise phones by design, applications is how we now personalised our phones.

The technologies listed below are not the be-all and end-all of game changers in technology, but they are technologies which fundamentally changed the way their field was seen or used – or even created an entirely new field in their wake
It doesn't say top 5, it is just 5 of many.

In the case of "technologies which fundamentally changed the way their field was seen or used – or even created an entirely new field in their wake", I'd say the that the PC is top. Then the cell phone. Then 3D printing.

Bionic ear created with 3D printer

With a 3-D printer, a petri dish and some cells from a cow, U.S. researchers are growing synthetic ears that can receive – and transmit -sound.

...

Although the new research is just one iteration in the field of cybernetics – an area that looks at combining biology with technology -McAlpine said the research could lead to synthetic replacements for actual human functions, and to a sort of electronic sixth sense.
