Also someone that doesn't understand the terms being used. Sure you get pleasure from it the same as doing an activity you like but it doesn't excite the pleasure receptors itself. Only carbs do that.That is indeed not true. Anyone who has ever enjoyed a good piece of perfectly cooked meat can attest to the fact that they do in fact get pleasure from said food. But don't bring up claims about sugar being similar to cocaine if you don't want to talk about it.

It's not a myth. We generally don't use more than about 15% of our brains and most of the time not more than 10%. What the article assumes is that the 10% means there's 90% of it that isn't used at all. This is not correct but it was never claimed. Erm NO. We generally detect tastes in specific areas of the mouth though they overlap a bit. Umami is also not a 5th taste as it is actually salty. They definitely are here. What is referred to as touch is more accurately the cutaneous sense so anything from touch to pain to heat and cold falls under it. Proprioception isn't even a sense. I am not talking about hitting your big tow and knowing it's your big toe. The ability to know where you body parts are in relation to one another falls under spacial recognition and it's a general ability our brain has.
