The 'Goldilocks' idea is actually misleading in my opinion. Might be applicable if you want to define life as something like us, but life will find a way to exist mostly independent of the environment.

Even on earth we've found life where it was thought impossible to exist due to high temperatures or pressures.

It's unclear whether xenomorphs understand the concept of gravity...Ripley didn't put the question to them in the historical documents I watched. For this reason, I may be in the clear.
