Did it eventually reflect ? Purchased a bundle last night and it's still not reflecting :/
 
I was considering getting dstv explora but with this Telkom mobile deal, lately I have so much movies. Don't think I need dstv I'm thinking of downgrading to a cheaper package R99.

So far I have about 105 movies and I'm still downloading. On weekends I watch about 4-6 movies. I think I will be good without dstv for now. I just need to get external hard drive and download many movies as possible before this deal ends.

Doesn't make sense. Wit DSTV you don't get to choose what movie to watch?

Plus I don't think this deal is ending any time soon.
 
Today been watching movies so really don't see the point of dstv now. I think the R99 package will be perfect for news and my soaps/telenovelas.

Music I have Jacaranda fm and 947 so I'm covered I'm not a sport guy.

This is actually what I did, had the Explora with the Premium package but didnt see the use in it anymore so downgraded to the R99 package. Now with this deal Telkom has given me more than enough to catch up on everything I ever wanted to watch
 
Last month I download only 30gb. I was using my vodafone tablet as a hotspot. I knew the speed won't be good, but where will I get 30gb for R50. I have an LTE router now,speed will be much better. I will see how much data I can get this month.
 
I'm going to buy external hard drive hope this deal wouldn't end any time soon. Still few movies I need to download.

Edit: I got 1TB at CNA for R999

That's exactly what I did a few weeks back, can't remember the last time I sat down on the sofa to watch TV. I've basically got everything is need to watch and more.

Which area are you from ? If You're close to PTA you can get 2TB for that price at matrix Hatfield. Had to wait a few weeks for new stock , ive bought 2 externals (4TB) for R2000 which is insane in today's market.

If you want to do some serious downloading I suggest you invest in a modem/router. The heat generated by a network signal used for downloading might not be the kindest thing to do to your handset.

Yep, though you need the LTE band 40 - 2300mhz for faster 4g/LTE speeds.

Weird. My S5 is completely cool while I'm downloading at high speeds. Only having the hotspot on makes it a little warmer but that's it. I use USB Tethering.

Well it is just a theory of mine. I'm on my third bundle, I wouldn't want to put my phone through that.
