I don't understand how peolpe can say GT5 has been delayed numerous time's...when in fact it has only been delayed once !

Their has never been a release date except for japan in march...just the dumb media posting when they think it will be released....if it ain't a offical release date then ignore the media and mag's.

It was supposed to be a PS3 launch title, so its been delayed more than once

OK, GT5 will be awesome. Well if their track record speaks for them, it will be awesome.
My concern is, development started like 4 years ago, which make me think that the foundation on which it is built on is already outdated.....

These delays cannot be good, and let’s hope it still comes out with the PS3 around, otherwise I need to buy a PS4 just for GT5......

That is exactly the advantage. They keep on improving the concept of a modern workable "simulator" with technology improvements all the time. In my view if they released it before it would have been not so good. Well we just hope 2010 sticks! I think they are waiting for the 3D systems hardware release before going to market! Who really knows!

Yeah the first real commitment and thus official delay just past. So I am sure we will see the end product this year.

first real commitment was launch title, then every year after that, vague release timeframes like duke nukem, if they say its coming out in a specific year and it doesnt = delayed

But at some or other stage they need to say, OK, we need to make this game.... and make some money. I am all for new tech, but remember, todays new tech is old tomorrow

Exactly, I hope no one tells them about virtual reality, then the GT fans will be really screwed
