500w psu

Hi guys

I have a normal 500w psu, one that came with the case, "no name brand" that should be enough to run a dvd drive, hd, and a mb ofcoarse and a 9600gt?? without anyproblems? im not going to be overclocking, my pc specs are E6750,intel JHB MB,2gig 800, 250gb SATA , DVD drive, 9600gt, vista ultimate

yip I got a 450 watt no brand name and i run a lot more things then u and no prob.
 
Shud work ok, but if you add more stuff I think you'll be cutting it fine ;)
 
cool thanks, just want to make sure, what the first signs be that im running out of psu "juice"?? and any1 go any opinions on a psu that would be less than R500 that any good??
 
it'll be fine for now but try go for a decent 450+ watt as soon as you can, it will prolong the life of your hardware.

the psu getting very very hot. the air coming out will be like a heater.
 
mmm, you get R399 no name 500W PSU and R599.

If yours is the latter you will be fine.
