512kbps Uncapped Wireless

A friend of mine said he knows of a company that offers 512kbps called something like "WebServe" - not certain of name, he is confiming the name for me, but while he does that, anyone heard of something like this?

This is Cape Town area, ah yeah its only R350 apparently :confused:
 
Not sure about what you asked above.

But here in hermanus there is a guy who decided to start up his own little wireless isp as well. He has something like 20 dsl lines and uses them and provides a wireless service. The speeds aren't great (15kb/s max) but it's capless and always on.
 
i'm on 512k wireless uncapped costs R513 a month

R350 gets you 128k uncapped
 
There are mnany like it, most in the Northern Suburbs where you live piesang. You should look around. What about that one that had a huge thread around here a while back. It was 1mb uncapped (well around 7gigs, but flexible, if you need more its okay for a month or two kind of thing) and only R500.

But like they say, goedkoop is duurkoop. Im shure many of these really small providers have alot of problems, and could also close down at any time. Many are illegal actually (i think??) and have very high start up costs.
But can still be well worth it.

BBoy, that is normally around the price you pay, but providers can set their own prices, im shure R350 for 512kb is possible.
 
uncapped in ct

i live in ct and dont know of any of those placs that give uncapped internet, can anyone give me a link to a site that give's decent priced uncaped internet in ct. Thanx
 
They all say its uncapped, and give a speed but what they dont tell you is that there is probably a daily threshold on the account and that you share that speed with other users.

Its true they all say its uncapped untill a certain day they say a cap would be implimented and your line speed would increase, then they impliment the cap and your line speed still stays the same.
