55" Hisense TV - which one?

So it is time to replace my Hisense faulty TV - note I am looking for a 55" unit

Do I go with the
2020 55U8QF or the
2021 55U8G

the later being R3K more expensive from Takealot.

Also, any one knows of specials on either TV

The Older model technically has higher white brightness, same amount of local dimming zones, and JBL audio.

The newer one probably has newer software running the show. I would try and view the two instore and see if there are any differences worth noting.

Have a 5ch JBL soundbar so sound no biggie. Don't know why Vidaa cannot be replaced by Android as in US and Europe
