Hi I was sleeping late last night when my girlfriend got a call that she didnt want to answer from a +555 number. As in the number displayed on the screen was +555. Is this an mtn service number or could this be a stored number in the phone book?

Does she bank with Nedbank? I have received them as well and it is an IVR when you pick up.

meh, when i try and call from my mobile it says i dont not have authorization for international calls. did a look up for +55 and it seems to be from Brazeeel!!! i am even moar confused. i am just going to look on her phone book if its a stored entry

also no need to cut off the foot... she is changed to the kitchen.. lol ( bring on the feminists.. i will take them all on.. i guess dating one hasnt really changed me lol )

As in the number displayed on the screen was +555.

I received an international call the other day, also showed +555. It could just be a number that MTN now assign to incoming international calls.

A whole lot better than "Private Number".
