iBurst is yet to release the 2Mbps modem (utilises 2 rx/tx) locally, so your only option is to use two modems (on one account) and connect it to a dual WAN system (don't purchase from iBurst as hardware price is inflated), however it does not improve upload or download speeds by any substantial amount in the real world and most dual WAN systems are not compatible with iBurst, like Netgear systems.

A firmware upgrade does not necessarily mean that the device would now utilise a larger spectrum, it may use the existing, but only better utilize the same amount. The base station may also be upgradeable, and thus may have a larger capacity.

Wind doesn't affect electromagnetic waves. You obviously have some trees or something else that gets affected by the wind and in turn degrades ur signal...

It's interesting, cuz I remember one day my connection was very slow and it was quite windy too. I live on the side of a mountain, so nothings really in the way... but i guess it might have been just one of those days, lol.
