6 Year old raped in School

I was half joking when I said that :p

Obviously exposure of children to porn etc. is does not contribute at all to anything negative. And we've done randomised controlled trials to assess that, -- of course we haven't for such would never be ethically approved. Our info comes from observation mainly.

I would say soft porn on tv does trigger things in kids to want to "experiment".

When I grew up in SA, the most risky thing we saw on TV was Dallas.

I would think that porn in the typical SA context is probably less likely to cause this than peer imitation or peer pressure or even more exposure to what adults and older siblings do at home, and how they refer to it. If they're all about "f-ing" this girl and that girl, or being "f-ed" by this boy or that boy for this and that or to make someone jealous, all of this helps bring the young kids up.

Kids going to be kids (not a condonation, just a simple statement on the amorality of children). The only thing we can do is try to handle such situations after the fact and try our best to prevent future occurrences.

I missed it, how old is the boy? if Under 12 nothing can be done about it.

Little rapists grow up to be adult rapists. With the amount of coverage rape gets in our country, I will not believe that these boys did not realise they were doing something wrong.

Too late for this perp, neural pathways already made. At a young age too, one can only imagine what kind of sht is going to branch off of that in the coming years.

Ordinarily I'd say that this is nonsense but there is a worrying trend in porn to make forced, rape, and incest porn mainstream. It is insanely popular. It is absolutely disgusting. It is probably shaping kids' minds...

Yes that does exists but it's acted and there is consent. Some women actually like that stuff. I could never do that role playing.

Guy "want to play role play rape"
Girl "No!"
Guy "That's the spirit"

Happens.

But it should still be illegal. Other things which are illegal to do, are also illegal to pretend to do.
Gives the appearance that people are doing it, and people are getting away with doing it, to the point that it is being consumed mainstream, so there appear to be no consequences in practice, which incentivizes the real thing.

And who's to know which are real and which aren't? They can be done very convincingly.

Oh God. Are we really going to argue that porn is to blame? Or are we going to blame people for doing what they want to do in the bedroom? Why not just enforce the missionary position?

Calm down son. No one has said anything about what you do in private. Unless of course you're into watching rape porn and the like? Is that why you have a track record for sticking up for sexual deviants?

If they want to film and distribute their sexcapades, then it is their prerogative too.

Really? cos if you get an 18 yr old who looks 14 and then you make a porn and you try to give the viewer the impression that she is 14 then you are in deep sht. You would still be in sht even if you drew it with a pencil and nothing ever even happened. We can just apply those principles to all of these themes.

Really? Give me a case where this has happened.

You sure? I haven't heard of anyone in South Africa being arrested for Lollicon. Mind pointing out such a case?

Now expose kids to that (and this rape & incest schit is becoming popular) and you're setting yourself up for problems...

So films about violent criminals makes children violent? What about video games? Irrespective all these things are age regulated.

I'm not googling that sht.

I'm talking about western laws, I actually don't know about South Africa. I assume the laws are based off of theirs.
