Ahoy!,

Nice one, can you tell me where you found that info, I'd dig to check it out!
It was supposed to be out last week already.. I have had a hard time trying to find out more info.

Thanks, Later..

Nice! :)

How about a mini review when you've sussed it out?!

Got my new Mobo/Gfix card and PSU today....just need Chip..Will be ordering via person next week or end week.
Will do some benchmark tests on card.

I just cant believe how big these Gfix cards are *as in length* (that didnt sound right :p )I will get pictures if i can find place to upload.

I will look for some AGP version stuff for ya. Although they seem to say it is very close to PCI-E Spec side of it...

Makes you wonder if the 6800GS should have not been called the 7600GT ....

It is deff not Top dog card....but does give the Top dog cards serious bites on their ankles.

No luck finding AGP info other then what you found :( I imagine it's gonna be out in max 2 weeks retail here and abroad. For now go along with the PCI-E Reviews.
They should not be that much different. It is deff a very very cool Gfix card! Maybe Person will know if it will be out here.

AGP version is not the same chip as PCI-E.

AGP version stock clock is 350.

What i thought :p
Seems when i compare my PCI-E To an AGP in Stats they seem the same in Clocks, and according to Retail Feature stats...

Where did 350 come from?

AGP

- Superscalar 12-Pipe GPU Architecture
- High-Speed DDR 256-bit Memory Interface

- 2 Years Manufacturer Warranty
PCI-e
- 485MHz Core Engine Clock speed
- 256MB 1100MHz high speed GDDR3 memory
- Superscalar 12-Pipe GPU Architecture
- High-Speed DDR 256-bit Memory Interface
- Dual 400MHz RAMDACs

Same chip - i would think it would be good for clocking ;-)

Yeh...GS has only 12 pipes so compared to 20 of the 7800Gt it wouldnt be quite fit to be in the 7800 range,Its kinda the winning competitor against the 6800gt.I know a fella who has the GS clocked at 520/1.15 which is pretty intense...This is with the shader model 3.0 support, printed on the 7800 circuit board(hence cheapness) so the size Borg is actually 7800 size and it's rocking the new samsung memory so hence the over 1k stuff which is intense...

This card is ending production end of Q1 2006 so this was pretty much a Christmas pressie from nVidia at the prices they go for,I would of got one but I'm waiting to see what happens in February.

As for the AGP,it will have 4 unlockable pipes so you xcould goto 16/6 if you unlock for a nice performance boost(uses the 6800ultras core),I know of someone running it 24/7 at 450/1.25 which is nice, cool for the AGP guys..I here it,however,is a tad more expensive, cant confirm that though.

The AGP version will be based on the NV 40 core.

Whereas the PCI E version is based on a different core(NV42). Which is not unlockable as the pipe do not exist in this core.

I do not know whether the agp verison will be unlockable. Mostly speculation as yet. But it will be a good card to upgrade a AGP board.

Not to butt in again, but that article was written December 05 last year, the cards out,and in stock:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/6800_Series.html
Yip unlocking is more chance but I know of people with the card unlocked 16/6,but I couldnt really give a percentage, hehe, much more of a chance than not...
As for stock clocks for the AGP:350/1000,depending on the company ie the XFX version is 350.
:)

First link has a good screen half way through the page, note the screen is 16/6..
Second link is also fully unlocked..
Third link contains info on how to unlock..

I have also seen a couple of reports of people unlocking the 1 vertex shader and not the 4 pipes,so I think percentage wize you would have more of a chance of getting that extra Vertex shader if the 4 pipes are damaged...

The card in the second link was bought from overclockers.co.uk,the XFX model.
Price wize,I dont have much of a clue mate,I'm sure forum member "Person" can PM you some details on pricing, other wize goto overclockers.co.uk and do a price conversion/calculation.
