7.2Mbps iPhone rumours surface

almost as much as nonsensical ramblings of people clearly out of their depth

I don't understand why people who dislike the iPhone always troll iPhone threads...

Don't even bother Aqua, some people just do not get the concept of different strokes for different folks, so they just blabber on trying to be insightful.

But its always strange how they compare a second generation iphone to a 7-8th generation nokia, wonder if they are so opinionated about other phones that start-up in the mobile market

who cares about which generation the product is? you look at the bang you get for your bucks, and whould have been easier on the ipod if it was in a lower price range (still whouldnt have bought one) but a 6grand that phone is a ripoff! Compare it to the e71 (cheaper), to the HTC titan2 (roughly same price range) and it becomes evident that it is under featured. And you can baf all you want but its price is not justified.

Not a ripoff in my opinion, it has longevity, my 1 year old iphone might not have the best hardware(2G and camera) which I was well aware of but the iPhone is a blank canvas not restricted by buttons so a new OS can bring it up to date easily and that is exactly what my 2G iphone will be getting when the new OS is released for free.

And my 1 year old iphone will support all the latest standards accomplished by software alone, and this is just the start it will have accessory support so it is extended even more.

I hear you..that is until the next iphone comes out...but to each his own, guess comes down to what you do with your phone, and your major uses of a phone that defines what you like about a phone:confused:

Probably - I know nothing about the iphone except the fact that i hate iphone owner's smug attitude towards there overpriced phones.

Thanks for clearing that up...@sswipe...

Seriously, these iPhone thread bashers trolling around are starting to p1ss me off beyond salvation of my sanity. I'm considering getting off this entire forum for good. If you don't have anything to say about the topic just frack off...mmmkay?

What gets on my nerves even more is the fact that the whole "iPhone users as smug" argument is almost always based on some kind of meme spreading. I'd be surprised if anyone who buys into that retarded argument even knows ONE person who has an iPhone and some kind of super smug attitude.

All I can say is that Aqua_lung was right in commenting that the iPhone is practically just a blank slate. In other words, by eliminating hardware constraints almost completely, they can just open up all the functionality via their excellent API's...what a great strategy, and so far it's worked out quite well for Apple.
