Heya! I dinged 70 today with my Human Warlock! :D

Now I need some advice:
1) I started doing BG's for tokens and Honour points and need to know which gear to go with. Felweave or Dreadweave? Any advice? I plan to do PvP and eventually raids. Is there a specific set that would be good for both?

2) Also, I want to respec coz this is my first character to get to 70, so I didnt know much wen I chose talents. Atm, I am full destro, but want to change. Which talent spec would be good for a combo of PvP and raids etc? Or which talents would be good for wen i do PvP and for when I do PvE?

If anyone has the time, can u pls link an example of the talent tree's that would be good?

In regards to specs
Start out with heroics and try this

Basic Dot then bolt build with destructive reach and imp sould drain for less threat. just keep all four shadow dots you have up and shadow bolt while they up.This build and variations of it are also pvp viable however not optimal ;)

Once you have enuff gear to reach 202 spell hit , 20% crit and 1200 shadow damage respec DS SnF ,my love build

You can see me with it here, however i have a searing pain variation because of tanking when i would usually take nether protection

biggest nuking build in the game , no class critz higher . Unfortuanly all you do is spam shadow bolt ,fun eh?:) What you have to do is sacrific your succy and spam bolt or sacrific imp and spam incinerate. I recommend you go the shadow route. Dont respec to this unless you have the required stats i mentioned above or it will just fail.
 
Well if you plan to do PVP here some very simple ways to get honour.

1) Afk in AV. Its what all good players do. And you get lots of bonus honour
2) Repeat step 1.
 
MissM, I'm still only on lvl 65 with my first toon ... however:

When I get to 70, i plan to respec my rogue just like you want to respec - which I think is cool. But what you need to remember is we are - on average - 400 to 500ms behind europe in latency, therefore, by nature, we suck at PvP.

I wouldn't dedicate my gear to PvP'ing as much as I would get it Kara ready with full PvE suits etc.

go to the imba site (i forget the url, but will try get it for you) - it tells you what gems you should have and which enchants you need and where you've miss specced etc. and basically tells you how to tune your toon...

Short ver : Spec full Demo or SL/SL(Soul Link-Siphon Life) for PVP, spec Affliction for early PVE (Heroics, Karazahn,Tier4 raids), spec Destruction for endgame pve (Tier5, Tier6 raids).

What server are you on ?

Warlocks ROCK at PvP.

Just run and DOT as many players as you can before you die. You will end up with most damage done. And die 100 times. But it's so nice to be killed and then don't release, just wait.... you see the target get weaker and weaker and bam.... he dies after you :D..... Love it :)
 
Hmmz

I'm toying with the idea of respeccing my Combat rogue to subtlety for a bit ...

Anyone here playing subtlety?

I have lvl'd Sub till lvl 60 or 62. Respect Combat. The other day I thought it will be fun to PvP in Sub and respec'd. What a waste. The play style is completely different. I played a few BG's and they went back to Combat :o

Worth a try but you won't like it much if you have been combat for a long time ;)

oh cool, thanks...

Ye i'm just keen to give Sub a try ... apparently combat chucks in way more DPS than sub hence combat = pve , sub = pvp ... so what's the specialty of Assassination then (as a main spec i mean)?

Im playing 2 daggers atm so it'll be good for me to respec and use the sword TPs for something else.

Combat = Sustained DPS - PvE
Sub = Burts damage - PvP

By burst meaning you juck out massive amounts of damage in the first 2 or 3 seconds, from then on it goes down alot.

Combat does not have that huge burst but has a sustainable DPS ;)

I just use combat in BG's I don;t do arena's so I don;t need to be Sub spec'd :)
