70 Ding!

Combat = Sustained DPS - PvE
Sub = Burts damage - PvP

By burst meaning you juck out massive amounts of damage in the first 2 or 3 seconds, from then on it goes down alot.

Combat does not have that huge burst but has a sustainable DPS ;)

I just use combat in BG's I don;t do arena's so I don;t need to be Sub spec'd :)

So I was reading through the wowhead threads etc after I dropped all my talent points ... only to find myself re-speccing combat :D

I went up 2% in crit just from that.

Hooray for finally getting my cloak-of-cheats :D

I'm taking a wild guess and think you went for one of these builds :D

19/42/00 or 20/41/00

They are the best combat builds by far :o

Probably a bad time to do it, what with them nerfing Cheat Death (unless you have a lot of resilience) and all.
Probably see a lot of rogues speccing back to combat now or toying around with hemo. Even though the nerf isn't that bad. You just actually, like, need pvp gear to be a pvp rogue, now. Like the rest of us.

With SA pings VS Euro pings ... playing effective PvP'ing / Arenas etc. is obsolete.

I was just curious about the other sides of the rogue. Since, when you look at say a druid - they differ VASTLY in the 3 specs ... I was wondering how different rogues are. So PvE Combat rogue it is...

Pitbull, I'm 15/41/0 i think (still 66) ... not entirely sure though. I just followed the rogue consordium build on wowhead... it seems to work quite well.

Managed to reduce a lvl 70 rogue to 40% health when he ganked me last night in Nagrand. He didnt seem fully specced at all, but did have the gladiator shoulder pads on.

Yes, that is the 20/41/00 build, I play it too :o

They say combat sword spec is the best for DPS (even if just marginally better than dagger spec), but when I changed to sword/dagger I received a much better response. I just hate the thought of maces. Maces belong to ogres and soccer hooligans - NOT ninjas!

Right now Im using 2 daggers so its a waste keeping 5 points in sword specialization if i'm not using it. When a better sword drops i'll look into it.

However (comma) I have a the dagger of the unquenched thirst and some greeny which boosted my crit from 15->20% and worked much better. I'm also doing the ring of death or whatnot in nagrand this weekend which is said to drop a better dagger reward.

Aside from that, I haggled some dude to sell me [The Night Blade] for 450g :D so I'll be using that one when I hit 70.

I just wonder which spec is better for dual daggers.

Leave ring of death till you hit 70 !!!!

100g + you get for that quest in 5 minutes work ;)

but .. but .. :(

doesn't it give mad XP and cool weapons that I can use TO GET to 70 ?

I currently have 3500g to bankroll me through my flying mount & repairs for now, so I'm not too worried about the 100g reward.

**EDIT: The ring of blood quest chain:

105,200 XP + 67g20s + 10 super healing potions + orsm dagger :D

Ring of Blood is an awesome questline! Did it last week and got a nice staff! :D Its fun too, if u dont have some (in my case) Horde ganking us the entire time. Luckily we manages to do it without the Hordies there :)

The last boss dude is pretty hard considering he comes back to life after u killed him! And he hits *&^% hard!

Anyway, enjoy it and ur new dagger! :D

hehe , thanks MissM :)

I've done the ring of blood before when I was 64 ... I strolled into Nagrand for the 1st time to see what my fellow guildies were up to - helped them take down some of the monsters.

Its much more fun when you have a Kara raiding guild :D
