Yes I only made the ending to catch your attention.

I have a 7600Gt vga card and want to upgrade to a better card. but don't want to spend to much money. maybe not more than R2000.

Any suggestions?

btw it needs to run most of the newest games...

thanks in advance

What are your system specs?
If you running a really old cpu and little ram a new graphics card won't help you much

thanks for mentioning.

intel core 2 duo 2.14GHZ
2gig Ram
160 Sata drive
Gigabyte MB etc etc.

new gfx card should help a lot then, where bouts you located

well if you interested I got the GTS250 on special atm (R1900 incl.)

You could also wait for the HD4770 Due to release in the next 2 to 3 months, it will be less then 2k and comes with GDDR5

Ye, but the 4770 is coming in to replace the 4830 if Im not mistaken. So 4850 should still > 4770. However if all goes well it should be a really cheap option for good performance. They plan on retailing it in USA for under $100 if Im not mistaken, just hope these prices aren't overly inflated here in SA as they always are

Unless you have R7000 to spend on the latest killer gpu round the corner it's usually best to just buy what's available in your price range. In this case 4850 and gts250 are about R2000 and over really great performance.
