USB Audio Player Pro for TV boxes

I see it's an upscaled glorified phone app. No wonder the UI is so atrocious.
UAPP is not available from the Play Store on Android TV since the app does not support Android TV directly.
What a hackjob.

Perhaps the next MyBB giveaway can be a Sony Walkman CD player just for you.

i will gladly take it then sell it on for a profit to a collector and buy a new DAC because i just sold my CDs

but its free - Apple charges for all their hackjobs 😉 besides the developer is still working on it .... lets see when its finished

BTW its the best audio app ever made for Android phones - in comparison itunes as a player is like "schit gone bad for over 6 months till its finished up as a dry and crusty layer all over your ar5e"

and since you are talking so much care to tell me what DAC you will connect to your Apple TV 😉

Pity it's cheap crap. They stopped making quality cassette mechanisms and audio tapes many many years ago, now everyone that makes a cassette player uses the same cheap ass mechanisms from China.

sure .... the linked unit is definitely cheap crap but if they do make a comeback then the collectors who do have their Nakamichi cassette decks in storage will pull them out and service them and start using them again (I don't have one but i do know a gent or two who does still own one )

You actually got a sucker to pay for it? This thread just gets better and better.
I hope his/her usb came with pristine wiring, pristine stands, pristine speakers - or is (s)he one of those who gets the Ferrari chassis but not the rest of the car. lol.

Of course this exclude acoustically corrected room...

Yes normal plan is already more expensive and then you still need to pay extra for lossless audio. No thanks.
How do you get hires lossless from Apple Music though?

We started chatting about it and as soon as you realised it was a challenge, you quickly banned me so couldn't 'bad mouth' the service.

Something tells that the vast majority of you Apple folk chanting HiRes lossless don't have it/can't run it and therefore default to 'but it's good enough for me'

again this begs the question - are you reading something different from the rest of the world - he is asking if i got a sucker to buy my CDs what does that have to do with stands and wiring ..... as i said before stupidity has no bounds - either way the Audiophile discs i had are mostly collectors items now, and i know enough people with Audiophile grade CD players and systems including the acoustically treated rooms who can and still do use them and the Chesky labs and Telarc as well as Linn discs in the collection you cant get any more because of the limited number of most of those copies ..... i just checked Amazon for around 5 discs that i had let go and Amazon doesn't have them anymore ...... guys would be asking collectors item prices for those 5 discs now and the current potential cost of those 5 alone are probably what i sold the entire lot for

IYKYK but you guys don't 😉

English is worse than mine. I suggest at least entry level LLM: Chatgpt - see how nice it is now:

Again, this raises the question—are you reading something completely different from everyone else? He’s asking whether I managed to find someone willing to buy my CDs. What does that have to do with stands and wiring?

Like I said before, stupidity has no limits.

Anyway, most of the audiophile discs I had are now collector’s items. I know plenty of people with high-end CD players and full audiophile systems—acoustically treated rooms and all—who still use them. This includes Chesky Labs, Telarc, and Linn recordings, many of which were released in limited quantities and are no longer available.

I just checked Amazon for about five of the discs I sold, and they’re not even listed there anymore. At this point, collectors would be asking serious prices for those alone—honestly, those five discs today could probably match what I sold the entire collection for.

IYKYK… but clearly, you guys don’t 😉

I tried ChapGPT now by entereing a random question - 'Is it easier to get tidal hires lossless or apple music hires lossless?'

"This is a great question — because on paper they look the same, but in real life they feel quite different. Short answer: it’s very easy to turn on Hi-Res Lossless in Apple Music… but not that easy to actually get the full benefit.

🧠 Short answer (no fluff)

👉 Tidal is slightly easier to actually experience Hi-Res audio
👉 Apple Music is easier overall but harder to fully benefit from"

It goes to show that once again @Smiggles loves his benchmarks, 'on paper', marketing & fluff ...

Well there are those virtual cards you can set up with standard bank, and then you get 3 months free each time if you technically want to go that way per card.

No sales pitch.

After hearing Apple Music was so super duper awesome, I gave it a try and was quickly disappointed. I mentioned the limitations on the Apple subforum and after hey blamed my Internet, ISP, equipement, WiFi, FNO, user error etc ... they were so angry that they banned me :(

It makes it easier for thm to pat each others' backs and talk about how awesome they think they are

No judgement though

You were given a solution, still went on a tirade and got yourself banned.
