8kVa System - Opinions

Good day, I would just like to add to the feed you are currently busy on that we are a new company and do not deserve the criticism that is currently running. We are a legit registered company thank you and my apologies. Here is our company registration number and please have a look at our website as well as our facebook and Instagram accounts. Considering I have never heard of any of those and the price quoted is ridiculously low I would be concerned if it's real in the first place (not a scam), secondly I would seriously question that inverter warranty being more than all most name brands and even if that is all good I would seriously wonder about the workmanship and CoC being legit.
They are a real company, and i have seen their work recently. So no doubt there.

My enquiry is around the products, and whether anyone has had any experience, both positive or negative, related to the actual products itself.

The install is about R15k, leaving you with R60k.

8 panels is about R30k, leaving you with R30k.

That means you're getting an inverter and 10 kWh battery for R30k. This is the core of your system and at that price I'd be surprised if it didn't go up in smoke in the first month.

Get a proper system with known components, even if it means you have to finance it...
Here is the very expensive lesson inverter

Do you have contactable references where your products / kits were installed? Preferably some that would not mind a site visit?

My concern would he 2-3 years down the line if they still exist and what happens when the products fail.

And by posting here in this fashion you’ve just made yourself look like even more of a scam through sheer desperation, whether legitimate or not.

You also managed to spell your own company name wrong.

In fact the whole thread has questionable scam origins now because OP is a one hit wonder out of nowhere posting about a company nobody has ever heard of.

Then the “company” magically rocks up in the very same thread so it’s not unlikely OP and the “company” are one and the same looking to pull some poor unsuspecting bugger with low pricing.

Maybe the mods should do an IP check on the two users…I suspect they’ll find them to be the very same.

Hi There. I am looking at the following hybrid system, and am looking for suggestions, recommendations or reviews please

- Fivestar 8.5kVA Smart Inverter (8 year warranty)
- 8x450w mono solar panels (20 year warranty)
- 10kW Lithium Battery - 48v 200ah Narada Battery (10 year warranty)

I have been quoted R75k including install and CoC and was wondering if this is a good price, and whether the kit above good, or is there something to watch out for?

thanks in advance
My Quote for something similar is R150k not installed, which is another R15k. But more panels and a better inverter.

@Solar & Stelworx please tell us about the 8 year warranty on this inverter. Who supports it?
I see others offering 6 months.
I've not heard of any Axpert branded inverter getting more than 2 years warranty. Even the known brands usually only offer 5 years.

The 5-10-year supplier warranty shall apply only to the normal use of the
product. The use is considered as normal if the following requirements are
fulfilled cumulatively: a) For the voltage range of 230VAC, the electrical
installations shall not be subject to the variation in voltage greater than 230V +/-
10%; b) For the voltage range of 220V, the electrical installations shall not be
subject to the variation in voltage greater than 220V + – 10%; c) For the voltage
range of 110V, the electrical installations shall not be subject to the variation in
voltage greater than 110V +/- 10%; d) The range of the temperature where the
product is used shall be 25°C +-5°C, unless otherwise specified on the product.
e) The relative humidity shall not exceed 80%.

Good luck with 25deg in SA

Please go ahead and do that.

I get that everybody is cautious, and thats the reason i came to this forum. For advice.

Thanks to all who voluntarily shared constructive feedback. Much appreciated

Assuming this isn’t all one big stunt to get a name out there… while this is a legitimate, registered enterprise in the Republic it is clear that it is very new.
They may indeed not be a scam but it does seem as though this company is trying very hard to appear more than what they are right now. The reviews are suspicious and appear to be the result of a concerted effort rather than a result of the natural process and genuine work over time. This may be a well-meaning bunch of people who are not actively looking to “scam” but I’d be wary of the what looks short cuts as far as the reviews are concerned. Make of that what you will.
I myself am currently in the process of trying to find a reputable installer to complete my installation because I suffered due to a poor installer and poor backup for a much more well-known inverter brand than what I see here. My advice would be to scrutinise everything carefully, including the product, as this represents a significant investment. Take it from someone who is going to pay twice.
