why not just increase the UPLOAD speeds?
4mbit is fine, but 384kbit upload is f'n retarded.

give the 0800 DSL DSL an call and ask then to up your upload speed i did and it is now 512K and i heard that telkom gonna drop there line rental again this year.

this will be such a joke....8mb line...how much will 1GB cost you????? $$$$$$$$ i pay R350 a month wireless 128k line uncapped....i can get roughly 1.2GB per day at full capacity

Who u with???.

forget trying to increase speed, current 4Mb speed is fine. just make it more stable and cheaper.

YES PLEASE!!!!!

Half a meg a second is more than enough for me!
But I hate this 768/512kbps in sitting with right now, just because its unstable :(

BTW guys, if copper was fibre, will noise line be a problem?

a uncapped(8mb connection) from IS would(in theory) allow you to move a huge amount of data, imagine what they'd charge for a service like that

i want a 1gbs speed
Right now telkom. its possible to get that speed with optic fiber cables
its an expensive job but they will make all the money spend on those cables within 2 years with the prices they charge.
but these bastards don't give a **** about any of that!! they want to kill us with those ****ed up copper telephone lines!!!
