So I got the R149 3GIGs and my signal is good as they say,
im living in hatfield pretoria, using my CellC E175 modum..
and i mst just say this internet sucks balls compared to CellC its so damn slow!

I don't agree, I get 5mbs download and 3mbs upload... but then again I'm in the south of jhb. So I'm very happy with 8ta

Living the east of Joburg, it depends on how 8ta feels on the day so speeds vary. Sometimes it's lightning fast and on others, it's basically unusable.

Im in Johb east and i get as much as 7mbps with the same offering when its not roaming on MTN

Always amazed how the WHOLE network now sucks because a specific tower is slow on the day.

Return what exactly? its not a contract or anything so you basically bought the bundle to test the network in you area so if it is that bad i say just move on.

why is it good in JHB south? and not in PTA? and why is it good in Garsfontein but not Lynnwood which is more central?

I stay in area with coverage. Benoni, east rand. Good 8ta coverage, unstable 3g.

Well I did a speedtest just now with 3 bars of signal and this is what I got

So by saying 8ta sucks cause your speeds is not satisfactory is not being fair. Just state in future that you have having speed issues with and and saying their product suck is really is uncalled for.

I might sound like a 8ta fan boi but what can I say if 8ta is the only network that has decent 3G speeds in my area. Cellc has 3G but if I get 1Mbps speeds I will jump up and down. MTN got EDGE and vodacom got me full signal of GPRS speeds of 2KB/s download.

So for me 8ta is the best thing that happened.
