8ta and BIS

I got my chick a blackberry. The torch 9860. (latest torch)
I have a spare sim at home that she is using now. It is a 2+1gb sim. So i gave it to her and she loaded BIS on it. BIS is active but the problem is that BIS just disconnects? The blackberry logo will still show next to 3G but if i run a diagnistics test then it says im not connected to bis service. No emails or bbms will come through.

I then have to untick mobile networks then retick it, then only BIS works again.

Could the disconnections to BIS be bec its a 2+1gb sim or is it bec 8ta isnt compatible with the 9860 device?

re-register your phone on the BB network,through Host routing table.

Everytime i switch the mobile network off and on again they send me an email saying that i am now registered to the blackberry network or something like that. They send me this everytime?

well colour me surprised. but yes that's right. i receive sms's on mine but no-one has that number. wait will call quickly....

settings-device-advanced-host routing table-BB button-register.
but looks like you're already registered.
