8ta blackberry contract

Just would like to know, if u have a acc at telkom, do they stil credit check u for a contract like other cell companys?

Reason i ask is , im under debt review, so i was wondering if ill be able to get a blackberry from 8ta since i have adsl, and bought a xbox and router with no problem on my telkom acc.

I got telkom mix. they give a BAD berry. no checks, just ad it to account.
