8ta E367 firmware?

Thanks Stokstert however i do not se the E367 8ta firmware there, or is it included in the connect software which I just need to reinstal?

What happened is I have cellC and 8ta sticks, and while fiddling and installing software the other evening through beer goggles, I had the 8ta stick plugged in but did a cellC instal and now by default when I plug the 8ta stick in it boots cellc connect software, (2 different machines same behaviour)

It still works and I can connect, but i figure the cellc software mighta overwritten what was on the stick, if that makes sense, so want to flash the stick.

The firmware on the stick is not overwritten as it still works to connect and use the data. It is just the connect/dashboard software that is the problem, try to re-install the 8ta connect software. Either download it or do a new setup from the 8ta stick by using Windows explorer and ensure that 8ta is selected as default under settings.

Good to know, I will just do some spring cleaning then and uninstall/install the dashboards again.

Thanks

Just to update. I unistalled all the dashboard software, reinstalled 8ta's and plugged the stick in.

It works but it prompts you with a pop up to install CellC software, the only place it can get that from is the stick itself.

So, I really would like to flash this stick and reinstal the default 8ta firmware if anyone can help with where to get the firmware from, its not on their site.

Hi Sneeky,

The only time you will see the other service provider dashboard, is when the USB modern used is same brand e.g Huawei.

Note the same will still apply even when you uninstall both and start to install the Telkom one first then the other service provider after. When you connect using the other service provider it will land on the Telkom dashboard and for you to get your data balance you will have to dial manually.

Automatically when the installation process starts it should advise if there is a latest firmware that need upgrades if the current one is outdated, and automatically it will update the firmware for you.

Please test accordingly and advise.
