OK i bought 8ta 14 days ago and i am using the e220 with a long USB cable (somehow improves signal). i have been playing wow, dota, lol, mw2, mw3, cs stike, and have used tungle with some of them at the same time, i also downloaded a file and got 387KB/s download speed which is the same speed as my brothers MB telkom line. i only game in the day and i am using a 2+1 GB package. i am in malanshof ( not a really big or recognized suburb). i am very happy with this service, and i moved from vodacom.

You are lucky. I can't use 8ta for gaming since the pings fluctuate from 50ms to over a 1000. It goes up and down and up and down. In a matter of 5 minutes it can go from very fast to not being able to browse at all and back. The signal stays the same so it must be because of congestion.
I mainly use CellC for gaming and 8ta for downloading. Neither are perfect though and it's a shame.

I'm also still gaming very happily on my 8ta Internet 5 promo. My speeds have dropped since I moved from Gauteng to Cap Town, but I'm still able to play BF3 online on my Xbox.

On average how much data do u use gaming. Say maybe an hour or two a day?
I honestly have no idea. I've heard many theories, but it all depends on what you're playing really. FPS online gaming for instance really boils down to sending a parameter string containing location on map (XY), direction (Deg) and status values every few milliseconds. From what I've heard, it uses on average 50MB per hour. This is however purely hearsay. I am yet to see the actual figures...
