8ta planning disruptive mobile VoIP services

will most likely be for corporate business packages, that's the only way it will really be feasible to the company.

Moley moley mole!

Interesting! Not interested in protecting the voice revenue, like the big players?

Nothing to protect

I think it's awesome - they will spend a lot of money and resources fine tuning their network for voip, but the real entrepreneurial drive to actually sell voip on their network will probably come from third party companies

Coverage

8ta seems to be launching really interesting stuff!!

I hope everything really does work out for 8ta

Great stuff yes!!! but where I am in Cape Town there is no 8ta coverage as things are NOW.

i hope they bring this very soon, like tomorrow because of the ernomous impact it will have on the economy and how the people will communicate as quick as they should.

For Android and apple users there is an app called VIBER. It is free. Just download, install and use. The call quality is far better than the low quality GSM we currently get. It works with Wifi as well as 3G.
